We did Blake's photos at Scuppernong Trail across from Ottawa State Park, where he likes to hike. Scuppernong has some great remnants of a an old marl plant, fish hatchery and hotel, perfect for getting an industrial look in the middle of nature! Blake also has a really cool car that he and his dad refurbished, but unfortunately it was in the shop when we scheduled his session. We still hope to capture some with his car since he spent a greater part of his high school years working on it, even before he learned to drive, what a proud accomplishment! So, you may see Blake again in the future when his ride is ready!
Okay, so this post is wwwaayyyyy overdue but I wanted to make sure I got it up because I absolutely just loved this senior session. Christina is my cousin's daughter, she is a bright, outgoing and beautiful girl. We had such a fun "girls" day with my cousin and her other daughter along for the session and the helped out, props to them for holding my flash and reflector (thanks ladies). Who else but family will help you out like that! I love the variety of urban and nature scenery that we chose for the session. Don't you just LOVE her dress! And, who knew that an old vintage chair my parents have had sitting their front room for decades would make such a great prop?
